Sophie Romy Renner, born 19 November 1997 in Vienna, studied literary writing and cultural journalism in Hildesheim. Romy completed jobs and internships at the Goethe-Institut Barcelona, Die Zeit, HarperCollins and SWR Kultur and was part of the youth ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna. Romy's texts have appeared in various magazines and anthologies. In addition to her writing, Romy has realised various musical performances and is part of the music collective Screaming Bathtub. Romy pursues political and activist contexts in cultural work.
